The Vote on Latest TV: Geoffrey Bowden interviews Ivor Caplin (@ivorcaplin) and me…separately!

These interviews were both recorded on the same day (Monday, October 30) in Latest TV’s Brighton studio, in the wake of Councillor Warren Morgan’s “antisemitism” smears and the division it triggered in the Labour Group he leads on Brighton & Hove City Council.

Unfortunately, Mr Caplin — a former defence minister under Tony Blair during the Iraq invasion — has refused to debate me in recent months, possibly still embarrassed by our first and only appearance together, in a two-part interview, late last year: here and here. (This interview followed the suspension of Brighton, Hove and District Labour Party caused by Cllr Morgan’s lies (about “spitting”) and Mr Caplin’s lies (about buckets and “vote-rigging” — and besmirching the reputation of an elected officer of his constituency party, for….”anti-semitism”).

Latest TV issued another invitation to him again today (Tuesday, November 7). I hope he — and/or Cllr Morgan — accepts.

The interview with me was conducted within the first 48 hours of the “dogpiling” attacks on me, after individuals known to Mr Caplin (and who have served as a conduit for him in the past) accused me of being an anti-semite”.
